Welcome to Ojai Unified School District’s Business Services

The Ojai Unified Business Services Department lays the foundation for our district to operate upon.  We strive to provide the support for our staff, so that they can focus on our students.   

We manage the financial, operational, and logistical functions that support the district's educational mission. Key responsibilities include budget development, accounting, payroll, and purchasing, ensuring efficient use of district resources. The department oversees facilities planning and maintenance, transportation services, and student meal programs, providing that schools are well-maintained, students are safely transported, and nutrition services comply with state and federal guidelines.

In addition, the department manages risk through insurance, safety protocols, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards. It also supports the district’s technology infrastructure and data management systems, enabling smooth operations and safeguarding sensitive information. 

By providing essential services in finance, operations, and logistics, the Business Services Department ensures that the district’s schools run efficiently, allowing educators to focus on student achievement.
