Ojai Unified School District

Blair Braney is a second generation Ojai Valley resident representing Trustee Area 2. 

Having attended Ojai Unified schools herself, she holds a strong belief in the benefits of a public school education and has a passion for public service. She's grateful to send her 3 children to the same district their grandparents also graduated from, and is honored to serve her hometown community in her role on the Board.

She's served in the roles of PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) Secretary and President of her children's school, Mira Monte Elementary. She is an active volunteer in the classroom and on campus.

Blair graduated from Nordhoff in 2003 and from Western Connecticut State University in 2008 with a B.A. in Communication Studies. She returned to the Ojai Valley in 2009 where she lives with her husband, Keith, and 3 children.
